Sun Odyssey 415

Meet the newest addition to the Sun Odyssey lineup: the Sun Odyssey 415. Built on the proven hull of the Sun Odyssey 410 and refined by Jean-Marc Piaton, Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group, and Jeanneau’s own design team, the 415 is a smart, modern take on onboard comfort that blends performance, style, and versatility for family cruising and stress-free sailing.

The signature walkaround deck eliminates the need to climb over the cockpit coaming, so moving from bow to stern is safer and easier underway or at the dock. An inverted bow and pronounced hull chine help her cut cleanly through the water, while twin rudders with self-aligning bearings keep the helm responsive and precise — testers reported the 415 “tracking straight as an arrow” even hands-off, holding 7.5 knots in 15 knots of true wind. A drop-down transom platform opens up easy access for swimming, boarding, and tender launching.

Design

Inside, the 415 feels brighter and more open than her predecessor thanks to larger hull windows and increased white surfaces throughout the salon. The L-shaped galley sits to port at the base of the companionway for easy access to and from the cockpit, complete with a two-burner cooktop and refrigeration reachable from multiple angles. A hi/lo dinette table converts the salon into generous lounge seating for entertaining at anchor. Forward, a dedicated navigation station seats two crew with integrated systems storage and a bookshelf. Three cabin layouts are available, including a forward master suite with a centerline berth, and your choice of two aft cabins or one aft stateroom paired with a workshop/storage space — plus a large aft head with a separate shower stall.

Under power, the standard 45 hp Yanmar delivers 6.1 knots at cruising rpm and 7.2 knots wide open. Four selectable sail plans and three keel options — including a swing keel — let you tailor the 415 to your home waters, from thin-water cruising grounds to open-water passages.

Personalize Your 415

Make her yours with the Performance Pack (upgraded sails, taller Z-Spar mast, hydraulic vang, and overlapping genoa), a bow thruster for easier close-quarters handling, solar panels, a water-maker, and additional battery capacity for extended time at anchor.
